Reishi is often dubbed the “mushroom of immortality” for its health-enhancing benefits and its potential to boost longevity and vitality. This mushroom is a rich source of vitamins, including the B complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B9) and vitamin D2. It also contains a variety of essential minerals such as calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and magnesium.

Usage: The recommended dosage ranges from 1.5 to 6 grams per day. We advise starting with a lower dose and gradually increasing it as needed. For extracts — 0.5-1 gram (1-2 capsules) per day with warm water.

To prepare infusions, steep 1 to 2 grams of dried mushroom in hot water and let it sit for a designated period. The recommended dosage varies from 1 to 3 cups of the infusion daily.

If you’re interested in scientific findings on mushroom benefits, see below.

1. Immunomodulatory properties of Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum)

This study examines the immune-supporting effects of Reishi, specifically through its polysaccharides, which enhance functions in antigen-presenting cells, macrophages, and lymphocytes, thereby boosting both humoral and cellular immunity. Reishi’s potential as an immune-support supplement is highlighted, including its possible role in managing severe COVID-19 symptoms, like cytokine storms.

Keep in mind, while mushrooms can greatly support your body and mind, they can't do all the heavy lifting alone. They're like a helpful companion on your journey to wellness, but your own efforts are essential too.
